I have 3 cats all about 10lbs and a bottle of 3 23mil praziquantel tabs. I know 1 cat has tapeworms because she is a under weight and ive seen them hanging off her rear end. The other two seem fine but i know TWs are hard to detect. They seem to act normal and frisky but i’d rather be safe than sorry. I’ve heard mixed reviews on how to administer the dosage so i need some advice bcuz there’s nothing on the bottle on how to use all 3 pills. It’s 1 pill for a 10lb cat.
Should i give 1 pill to all 3 cats or give all 3 to the one cat that i know has them, 1 pill every 2-3 weeks or so?

My cat has both fleas and worms. Can I give him both of these medicines at the same time?:
For fleas: http://www.1800petmeds.com/Revolution-prod10265.html#top
For worms: http://www.1800petmeds.com/Tape+Worm+Tabs+Cat-prod10415.html
Or if you’ve ever given your cat both these medications at once, what was your experience with it?
Thanks!

We have moved twice, and he still gets them. He doesn’t go outside. There are no fleas. There are no rodents (that we know of). Is it possible that he might have picked them up from fleas/rodents several years ago, and even with treatment never got rid of all of them, so that’s why they keep coming back?
I actually bought a whole bunch of tape worm tabs (medicine), just to keep up.

Hi I have a 8 week old kitten that I rescued from being euthanized at a shelter when he was 5 weeks old. I bottle feed him KMR until he was weaned and recently took him to get his first round of shots (Fvrcp) and seconding deworming 4 days ago. He also had tapeworm so I bought the over the counter tapeworm tabs for him since the Vet at Petco was all out and followed the vet’s instruction on dosage. He had a very big wormy tubby and now the his belly is smaller than before.
I never saw any worms coming out of his butt or poop since he has been deworm and taken tapeworm medicine so I’m wondering if he is actually internally better with the worm situation because I don’t see any dead worms coming out (tape nor round worms).
I also trimmed his whiskers and eyebrow hairs a few weeks ago and noticed today that all of his eyebrow hairs have shed off. And I’m so worried because it looks like he is balding around the eyebrow area and around his forehead. I don’t see any skin but the area has less fur than before and less than the rest of his body. He had one little piece of white hair on his eyebrow left and I checked it and it came right out without any force. I dont’ know if its because of his medication or because of the worm infestation. He was very depressed and tired after the vaccine which is typical for a cat and we left him alone to rest during that time. Im not sure if he’s stressed because he is very very well taken care of and played with by my roomates and I and is very used to our prescence. We spoil him pretty bad. And he seems to still always be hungry even though I feed him small meals a few times a day like the vet told me to.
So there is two questions:
-Why is there no dead worms in his stool? Does he still have worms?
-Why is he shedding fur around his forehead and all his eyebrow hair?

So from the research I did on google, I discovered my cat has tapeworms, so I bought some tapeworm tabs from petco(that was fun trying to shove a pill down her throat, but I got it) a month ago…I havent seen anything coming from her butt since, but how do I know if they are gone or not???
I’ve had her about 3 mos. now, I took her from a really hyper/loud environment…shes taken time to adapt, but has finally let my fiance touch her…shes 2 1/2 yrs old…..
thats the thing she doesnt have any fleas….but its been a month now and i havent seen any signs
