I’m very concerned & scared.

i’ve been finding the little rice-like segments around the house & on my bed,but we also have 3 other cats,two belong to my brother,and one of the two is an outdoor/indoor cat,and he sometimes sleeps on my bed,along with my kitten.i blamed my brothers cat for the little segments,and that was awhile ago.i told my brother to get him checked out.

yesterday,my boyfriend & i were watching TV,when i looked over & noticed tiny pieces of something on my bed.i looked closer,and realized it was two of those segments.i picked up the pillow,and there were MORE.i was so grossed out,i washed all my pillows & sheets at 11 at night,and slept on the couch!

i then realized the culprit was my kitten,who has already had them once before.

just tonight,she had half of the worm,in little gooey pieces stuck in the fur around her anus.i had to pull them out with a napkin.(gross,i know.)
i feel so bad & scared for my baby kitty.i love her dearly.

i don’t know what to do.my parents & i are splitting the cost for her check ups already,and i don’t have the money to pay them back,to take her back to the vet,to get the shots AGAIN.my heart is torn between keeping her & paying boco bucks again & again,or taking her to the humane society.

im truly upset.any advice? anything would be helpful.

i have 4 cats, and ive noticed that 2 of them have tapeworm segments…. I can’t afford to take them to the vet… are there any home remedies that wll work on them. Or any inexpensive tapeworm removel pills i can buy? Thanks
so if i were to get the praziquantel tapeworm treatment for cats… it wont work? i have flea medication also.

We have tried three vet treatments: five doses of pills and one shot. Nothing is working. My other dog (both are labs) does not have the worms, which are tape worms. My wormy dog has no adverse effects, such as fatigue or weight loss. In fact, unless you checked her poop, you would have no idea she was ill. We have stepped up our flea treatment (Advantix) to every three weeks for both dogs.

I am 22 weeks pregnant and we need to get this resolved soon. I am worried that this can affect my health and eventually the health of my baby. Help!
Unfortunately, the segments are alive. The pills from the vet have been at least two different medications. The vet says she’s never had a dog who has not responded to these treatments.

When a dog or cat acquires tape worms is it just one long tape worm with segments that fall of of it, or is there more than tape worm in them.

I went to the restroom, and all i "made" was a small about the width of an index finger, whitish transparent thing. It didnt look alive, i stared at it and it didn’t move. Im not sure what it is. It not a tapeworm because it didnt have segments, yet again it was very small width-wise yet somewhat long like an index finger also a bit flat. Is there something i can do to kill these if there are more inside me? I’m not even sure if im insured to go to a doctor?can i buy something from a pharmacy?! @_@
