Cat Tape worms?

Tape worms. I found white rice length things in my cats poop. Some came out wiggling. Are they definitely tape worms. He is an indoor cat, fully but we just took in a mother cat and kittens and that may be where he got them from.
He is also not acting as normal as usual. He is lethargic and not as playful. He has also gained weight (maybe from the switch to kitten chow for the rest of the cats)

any advice
i will be getting him dewormed but i have to wait for the kittens to go because they are too young to be dewormed and i have no way of confining them so he will get the worms again if i do it now.
it will be another week or so

cat tapeworm emergency!(long but skim if you want)?

so i just got 2 kittens the other day they were free and the place i got them from wasnt extremely dirty or anything but the kittens did seem a little skinny with puffy bellys at the same time.. one of the kittens will not go in the litterbox which is weird because cats dont usually seem to have this problem.. any ways we found out she has tapeworms!!! so we went lookin for a vet who gave us a peice of a pill called "drontal"? i guess thats what it says… shes only like a pound if that.. shes smaller than the one and hes a pound… wow im rambling ne ways… they started coming out of her rear and my friend(thank god shes here) was like pulling em out.. is that bad?… or should we let them go like she was like eating them.. is that bad?.. im new to this entire worm thing… we do kno for a fact there tapeworms.. sorry for the rambling im just not sure how much information is needed… we only gave medicine to the one kitten.. should we seperate them?? what about my other pets we have 2 dogs and a bigger cat and i have a mouse which im sure isnt a big concern… thanks soo much for reading and i appreciate all answers =)
yea lol btw she did wash her hands REALLY well she has like major ocd and shes a healthfreak and all that crap so yea… and the other cat has them too.. idt i said that.. do i still have to seperate em?

My question is this: I’m trying to save some money. (since it is pretty limited) I also have one cat and two kittens, all of which have tapeworms and fleas.

Should I go to a Petco or something and just buy some Advantage and worming pills? Or should I just take them to a vet and have it all taken care of there? What would be the better thing to do?

(Note: my felines have yet to be vaccinated)

Cats, Dogs, & Worms, Need Some Info.?

What kind of worms do kittens get? I know a lot of kittens have worms when they are little and need dewormed asap. I was wondering if they were tape worms, round worms, or what kind of worms? Can people get them? If so, how? This is kind of out there but can a worm fall out of their butts onto the floor? Should they not sleep in the bed with me if they have worms? Am I going to get worms?

I rescued two kittens, a brother and sister, around the beginning of August when they were about 6 weeks old. They are now about 10 weeks old I’d say and nothing has gone wrong with them until now.

The other night, I bought some Pounce cat treats and some catnip for a new scratching post, along with a catnip toy. They seemed to LOVE the treats, and played with the toy all night long and even began to use the scratching post. But later that night, they started to throw up this clear, frothy like liquid.

The next morning I noticed they hadn’t ate overnight or gone poop, but had continued to pee. I watched them all morning and they started to throw up the clear stuff again. They would walk to their litter box, meow a few times like they were in pain, I would get a paper towel to put under them and then they would throw up clear or yellowish liquid. The weird thing is, they would run away and start hopping around and wrestling with each other.

Yesterday I bought some Fancy Feast which they took a liking too, they’ve been slowly drinking water, I even noticed poop in the litter box again, and with their energy level just as high as always I figured they must be getting better.

But this morning my fluffy baby just puked some more bile i guess, and as I watched him, something long and white was hanging from his mouth, and then he just swallowed it back up.

Could they have been having an allergic reaction to the Pounce or Catnip, since they were fine until they encountered these? Also I’m worried that what I saw was his tapeworm coming out of his mouth. I have ordered tablets for worms that should be here in a few days, along with Revolution.

Has anyone had this happen to them that can shine a little light and ease a little stress? :(
And Fancy feast was only added to their diet after they began throwing up since they wouldn’t touch their dry food.
Well first off all, yes, they are on Purina kitten formula food.

When I called the local vet, they told me that kittens sometime do this and I should bring them in if they energy level decreases and if they cease to eat and drink completely.

Fancy Feast is the only canned food I have gotten a positive response with.. A couple other brands they would turn their nose to
*another edit* lol.

The deworm tablets I am ordering are the exact same thing they will give them in office: Drontal. They let me know I can order from 1800 Pet Meds, which helps me not have to pay for the office visit + exam and testing fees at their office. It’s for sure tapeworms because they have those little dried seed like things where they sleep.
