Tape worms, heart worms, round worms, what ever? any kind of worms.

how can I tell?

Please, What are some signs that my dog has heart worms shes been moving slow (shes not that old) shes been hanging around me alot lately (which she doesnt do so much unless its play time) And she did that butt thing on the carpet if u know what i mean my friend thinks i have to give daily medicine but she has never been sick or anything we have never givin her medicine before (not that i know of) so just making sure what are some signs of heart worms?

I think that my Boxer/Mastiff mix has tapeworms… When he go poop he has little white moving worms in his poop. I looked it up online and it said that it could be tape worms or roundworms. Upon reading more I think that it is tapeworms. The website that I found said that deworming can be done by either oral medication or by injection and the most common antiparasitic agent used is praziquantel another is epsiprantel. I am wondering which is the best and the safest to use on my dog. I adopted him from the pound and he was sent to a vet before he even came home. They neutered him and they were supposed to check for internal parasites. They called me and asked me if I wanted to have him checked for heart worms, at that time I didn’t but plan to very soon. When I picked him up they told me that he did not have any intestinal parasites. I brought him home and not even a week later he has worms. What should I do?
I plan to take him to the vet in the morning and get the medication. I just want to know what is the best and the safest.

When I let my golden retriever inside she would sometimes sit in a way that her butt rubs on the floor then start licking herself there. She would do this once in awhile and my mom kept telling her to stop. She eventually had to go outside because we realized this long white thing ended up on our floor because of her. It was about a centimeter long and a millimeter wide, but it wasn’t moving. It looked as if it was split up because there were others just like it under her tail. After we sent her outside, her butt was still itchy and those white things were still coming out.

The last time she went to the vet was this year in August, her blood sample showed that she had heart worms even though we gave her HeartGuard every month for it. We also found out that day that she got heart worms because she outgrew the medicine we were giving her so we started giving her the correct amount for her size. She hasn’t had her medicine for this month yet, she takes it the 23rd of each month.

What I’m asking is: Are the little, white long things coming out of my dog worms? and Are they coming out because the medicine is finally killing the worms inside her?

i do give my dog that now and then, but recently i found out at my dog’s annual check-up that he has heart worms, the vet said its a few, but to give him revelotion 1nce a month. my dog doesnt show any symptoms yet.
If you know any medicine that could kill the worms quicker i would really apreciate it.
