I bought my rag-doll kitten from Pet-land about two months ago and since then i’ve been noticing these small yellow seed like looking things appearing all over my house. I only find them in places where my cat has been. My cat is an indoor cat so they can’t be from
outside. I’ve also found them in his fur around his tail. There’s alot in the litter box and now they’re everywhere. I’m thinking it could be tapeworms or roundworms? I’m taking him to the vet in 2 days.

Does anyone know what this could be?

I’m very concerned & scared.

i’ve been finding the little rice-like segments around the house & on my bed,but we also have 3 other cats,two belong to my brother,and one of the two is an outdoor/indoor cat,and he sometimes sleeps on my bed,along with my kitten.i blamed my brothers cat for the little segments,and that was awhile ago.i told my brother to get him checked out.

yesterday,my boyfriend & i were watching TV,when i looked over & noticed tiny pieces of something on my bed.i looked closer,and realized it was two of those segments.i picked up the pillow,and there were MORE.i was so grossed out,i washed all my pillows & sheets at 11 at night,and slept on the couch!

i then realized the culprit was my kitten,who has already had them once before.

just tonight,she had half of the worm,in little gooey pieces stuck in the fur around her anus.i had to pull them out with a napkin.(gross,i know.)
i feel so bad & scared for my baby kitty.i love her dearly.

i don’t know what to do.my parents & i are splitting the cost for her check ups already,and i don’t have the money to pay them back,to take her back to the vet,to get the shots AGAIN.my heart is torn between keeping her & paying boco bucks again & again,or taking her to the humane society.

im truly upset.any advice? anything would be helpful.

OK. My male cat had worms a little bit ago and we got him some generic medicine that you can buy at the store that has really high reviews. We treated him and our female cat just to be safe. Now, a few months later, I found something that was small, round and white in his fur by his butt. I googled it and it is possible that it is a tapeworm egg but it isn’t shaped like a rice grain like so many people has described it. I want to take him to the vet tomorrow to get a for sure answer but my fiance thinks it is paint chip, which is possible. Now my question is, has anyone ever had an experience with tapeworms in cats and seen something like I have described? Like I said, it was very small, almost flat even, white and it broke into dust when my fiance squished it. I am going to call the vet tomorrow since it is too late to do anything now, but I would like to know if I have reason to believe that it is, in fact, tapeworm eggs or am I just freaking out for no reason. Any advice is appreciated.

My dog is loosing alot of fur and spins on her butt alot she also is getting alot of gun under her eyes and her nipples are getting really big and saggy. what do you think is wrong with her she spins so much some times she bleeds we tried worm medicine and its gotten worse sense then

and it said she had tapeworms. the lady that worked there failed to mention this to me when we bought the cat. i know that fleas are part of the tapeworm cycle so does she have fleas? is she going to infest my house with them?? she does scratch herself but i looked in her fur and close to her skin and she didnt have any of that flea poop stuff. i can hardly sleep i know that sounds lame but it just creeps me out. what do i do about it.
