My dog got spayed today, we took her in at 8:00am and picked her up at 5:00pm. She is an 11 month old german shepherd. We think she has worms, she is really underweight, but she eats normal, last night she wasn’t aloud to eat after 8pm and didn’t hardly get to eat today. When she got home she didn’t act like she was in pain or anything, and the vets acted like everything was fine. But im worrid because she has barely eaten and I can give her worm medicine for a few days. Have you had a dog spayed or neutered? How did they act? We got her the pain medicine and antibiotics. She hasen’t really bothered the stitches. Please help im worried.
We thought that the vets would keep her over night to make sure everything was fine, but they told us to pick her up in the evening. So i dont know wats with that.

I’ve tried researching but can’t seem to find a reliable answer. My fish is a simple goldfish, I am guessing a comet goldfish.
A few days ago, I noticed that he was swaying from side to side when he swam. He would go to eat food, but didn’t seem to get much in his mouth, rather he would swim around clumsily. Two days ago, he took a turn for the worse and has been at the bottom of the tank ever since. He is clearly still alive, as he is breathing and he flops around every once in a while. He is on his side in an upside-down U shape.
What is wrong with him? What should I give him to treat it? I bought "PraziPro" at my local pet store, hoping that it would solve the problem. The bottle says that it treats flukes, flatworms, tapeworms, and turbellarians.
Just added it to his tank now (he is isolated in a small 2gal tank). Help! Before it’s too late!
He is a very small goldfish, one of those 25 cent kind. Because of this, I am now thinking that he is not a comet, but rather something smaller. He would certainly never grow any bigger than maybe 4 inches. I know it seems stupid to worry about one of these fish, but I just hate to see him like this…

My Shih Tzu puppy has somehow gotten worms in her little body. I don’t know the difference between roundworms and tapeworms and all those parasite things so I need help. I saw this thing, and because it said RID WORM, I bought it. I don’t know if it’s appropriate for her. Tell me if it is, the link is listed below. (P.S. And don’t say anything mean like, "Take her to the vet!" because in case you don’t know, I took her a few days ago and it was certainly a handful of money and I’m not rich to be taking her every 2 days.)

Just a warning, I’m going to go into detail about kitty poo. Beware.
I adopted a cat from the animal shelter two weeks ago (actually, he was there for 2 days then got put in foster care for a month; I adopted him straight from his foster home). He is a year old. Ever since I got him he has had very bad diarrhea. After 3 days of living with me I cut out wet kitten food, and that helped with how smelly it was. A week in, I gradually switched over to a more nutritious, balanced dry food (without fillers). That got it slightly more solid, but still pretty bad (and he actually urinates now, instead of all of his liquids coming out in the diarrhea). I even bought some wheat grass for him to chow on to help his upset, rumbling tummy; he doesn’t eat much of it, so something tells me that’s not the issue.
I took my cat to the vet a few days ago and the vet wants to run expensive tests to determine whether the diarrhea is caused by any major diseases. The vet said that there was no swelling in the abdomen, and he’s in perfect health other than the diarrhea. I paid for a tapeworm pill and gave it to him, but the cost of the tests is extremely prohibitive for me. And, I’m worried that constantly switching diets to check for allergies will just keep my kitty sick, as well.
Any thoughts on how I can calm my cat’s intestinal issues? Any brands of cat food or vitamins you would recommend?
Thank you!!!
Thanks everyone for their answers! I’ll try out the Rosemary idea– I was thinking of planting some in my garden, anyway. I’ll go out and try the Nitro kitten food recommended, too. I’ve decided to sell a bunch of my stuff on craigslist to pay for another vet visit and the testing fees– this is much more important to fix than keeping a bunch of books and junk I don’t use. Thanks again, everyone!
