okay my dog has worms in her poop so we went to pet smart and bought worm medicine which covers any type of worm she has so we gave it to her in her dry dog food and poured alittle bit of water over it like it said to and the worm medicine is a powder so anyways we did and she ate it and then the next day she is like coughing and making weird noises and we gave it to her the next day and still was coughing so we stop then she stop coughing but got the worms in her poop again so we gave her the medicine again then she coughs what do we do were suppose to give it to her like daily but she coughs
oh btw my dog doesnt have play with other dogs we only have one pet and she doesnt go by other dogs at all and she had shots
oh and she has grains of rice which is tapeworm
and my mom doesnt have the money for a vet she only coughs when we give it to her but when we dont perfectly fine

OK, I want to adopt this dog and keep it, I just found it today, but I am not allowed to have a dog in my apartment if it weighs over 25lbs. I googled how to guesstimate a dogs weight and it said that when it is 12 weeks old, which is what I am guesstimating this dog is, to multiply its weight by 3. Right now the dog weighs 10lbs, but it is infested with worms, how much weight do you think the worms account for? I really want this dog, I am going to go get some worm medicine for it no matter what, whether I keep it or not, but, I really want it, its so cute.

idk my puppy her eyes get red from times to time and im not gonna rly worry about it cuz i give her worm medicine every month and she got her shot she need till she turns one. but i would like to know howsw this is cause becasue the dogs whites are suspossed to stay white unless like gunk buildup or something like that.maybe she going blind ? idk help me plz

i have two outside dogs. when i got home from work this morning i didn’t see anything on my dogs during my morning petting session. when i came back out an hour later i saw my dog trying to get what looked like strings off her back, so i decided to help her. when i grabbed the "strings" i realized that they were worms with flat heads about 4 to 5 inches long. they were stuck to her fur and leaving what looked like a trail of slime like you would see coming from a slug or something. i looked up hook worms tape worms and round worms and none of them remotely resembled these worms. could she have just laid on them or do you believe they pose a threat to her health?

I didnt say I couldnt afford to take care of my kitty, I just dont have the money TODAY. and i wanted to take care of it ASAP. She is vomiting the tapeworms up. So i called the vet just for office visit not including her medicine. So they have a pill thats and you have to dose her again in 3 weeks so thats what I am going to do.Someone also told me that other animals can get the worm from their paws. I was worried about that too because I have my cat, 2 dogs and a bunny, not including my 4 fish but Im not worried about the fish
