Tape Worm Medicine and other Pet Worm Help
Can someone please help me?thanks
Sounds like fleas to me, when they skid their bum on the floor that’s the first signs of worms, also look for rice looking stuff around their bum after they poo and check their poo for those little rice grains. You can also shine a light at the exit area of the dog and you will see little worms coming out after couple of minutes, they atracted to light.
Take your dog to the vet to be sure, they will need fecal sample.
Yeah, it could be. my dog used to do that when she had worms.
she even used to rub her rear on the ground or wherever she was at; so I got her medicine from the vet; take them to the vet;
I’m not a vet, but from experience with my own dogs, it could be what is called an "anal gland," that is located right inside a male dog’s butt. This needs to be "expressed" by a vet. Or…it could be tapeworms or other parasite.
I don’t know my dogs have never had them but if both of my dogs were scratching and biting their rears, I’d be at the vets office tomorrow.
YES Go to WAll -Mart buy a wormer and help those poor uncomfortable itching doggies. They are not happy.
