Kitten: post tapeworm treatment question?

My kitten has a tapeworm but we just gave him a Cestex pill today. Apparently one pill takes care of the problem but I was wondering if he will poop out the whole tapeworm or if we just wont be seeing anymore worms? As much advice as you can give on the subject would be great! Thanks
It’s hard to say. It’s more likely that you won’t notice and that the tapeworm will come out in small parts, but it really depends on what stage of development and what type of tapeworm it was.
Occasionally, there have been cases where the tapeworm will come out whole, but that’s quite rare.
