It depend on what vet you go to
the vet i took my dog it costs 90$ dollars
humane society has low cost vet also with med card public aid sometimes free based on income may vary in some states or areas
You can check to see if your dog has worms by checking his/her poop. Sometimes you can see them in there. If your dog does have worms then there are de-wormers at stores like wal-mart. That is what my friend did with her dog and he is doing just fine. But if you are not comfortable with that, then maybe you should take him to the vet.
