i really want to get a puppy but my parents said i had to work up a money range and i need to know how much it would cost about. thanks :]] and no jokes please and thankyou :]

There is more to a puppy than just HEARTGARD and worm meds. The dog needs to be tested for both before administering either drug. Dogs need occasional vet visits due to other emergencies, illnesses, etc. A dog cost, on the average, around $1000.00 a year barring any major illnesses or injuries.
Heartgard pills cost by weight of dog. As low a 5bucks. And at my vet the cost to get their shots for all else is 40.00 . And that includes office visit fee. Those are yearly. But my vet hasn’t changed his fees in many years. You need to call around your area and ask vets what they charge. If get one from shelter they are already taken care of for first year plus micro-chipped for you.
