Do i have tapeworm?
Basically… the symptoms i have right now are pain right under my sternum, dizziness, weakness, and lack of hunger. well i actually i feel hungry. but when i eat it doesn’t seem to fulfill my hunger. oh and i haven’t taken a number 2 in awhile either. idk if that has to do with anything. and… i regurgitate some of my food too. yikes…
i thought that this pain was just in my stomach because of these pain pills i’m taking. i’m taking pain pills because i just had my wisdom teeth surgically removed about a week ago… so yeah. but i’ve been taking them for almost a week and all of a sudden my abdominals started to hurt a few days ago.
and… i’m pretty sure i haven’t eaten any raw meat… well because i haven’t been able to eat anything like that.
so my question is…
do i have the symptoms of tape worm? if not… what do you think i have?
and what should i do?

If you had tapeworm, it would show as 3/8 inch long pieces of it in your feces. Some pain medications contain a nauseant to keep addicts from smoking them. You may be allergic or overreactive to that nauseant. Get your prescription changed, and see if that helps. Since it has been a little while since the surgery, they may want you to switch to codeine, which is usually appropriate at about this time. Don’t get Emprin-3 with stomach problems, as the aspirin will get you. Ask for Tylenol-3. Good luck. Regards, Larry.
