My new pup will be coming home soon, and i would like to know what and how to be prepared? what do i need in case of any emergency "health issues"? like infections? what kind of food does she preffer? She is a 12 week Yorkshire, I never own one but i do have a Mini pincher, he is 7 years old and neutered. I heard about lot of yorkshire health complications so i would like to be prepared! My Mini Pincher has been depressed lately thats the reason im doing this and we need another family member to join a our group!

please help me!!!! would she also need vitamins? what kind is the best for yorkies, and also if she develpos worms or tape worms or such infections what is best to treat it? and medicine?

Like all body worms? Brain worms tape worms, and all that just by meds or does sergery usually need to happen?

My dog has white worms believed to be tape worms on his rear and my husband picked up the above medicine from my vet. He is a large dog but he is not a freakin horse..

DID MY VET MAKE A MISTAKE? I am really worried that this isn’t the right medicine and the office is closed right now. My dog has had two doses already. He seems ok but I am still worried…

ok so my cat was sick so i took her to the vet last week (she is NOT pregnant)
the vet gave her antibiotics for 4days
and then 1/2 pill deworming medicine and the other1/2 next month
my cat was bleeding a little bit from the butt
the vet told me it’s from tape worms
she got better but after the dewroming medicine she started bleeding again (not alot only dry butt arounf the area) and just now i checked and the size of dried blood is the size on a small coin
it was always less than that
the cat is eating and playing fine also acting fine
she don’t even lick her butt like she used to
she is 2
vet clinic closed today
i took her to the other vet in town
he said this blood is "her period" and he did not give her any medication
so i changed to the other vet i’m take my cat to now !!
the other vet told me this is tape worms
and when she took her temp some blood and worms came out (gross poor kitty)
so i don’t know
i like this vet i don’t want to change to a new vet again

I have a cat who now has worms. She is an inside cat, and I believe she has tape worms. It’s the little rice looking worms. What can I do without going to a vet?

The reason I ask is I recently lost my job, and honestly have no extra money. As for finding a job, cant do that until I have my baby. Is there anyway I can get meds without her seeing a vet? I don’t live in a large city, so there aren’t many options, but just looking for something I haven’t thought of yet.

And I know this sounds wrong, but will the worms hurt her in anyway if we can’t get medicine? I don’t know how long she has had them, I just started noticing them this week.
I forgot to put in I did call her vet, and they want over 100 to see her. As for borrowing it, I can’t do that. For 1 I have no job, 2 no one I know has an extra 100 laying around.

Izze, yes I can spend the money to get the worm medicine, however I can’t spend the 100+ to have the exam done on the cat.
